Led by Dr. Nazif Mahbub, an MPH graduate and Senior Policy Analyst with the Government of Alberta, Canada, this is a focused, small-group session created specifically for Bangladeshi applicants who want to understand exactly what it takes to get admitted, succeed academically, and transition into the Canadian public health workforce.
Dr. Nazif will also will also discuss and demonstrate how to craft a compelling Resume and Stamement of Purpose for MPH admissions in Canadian Universities. this session will provide you with the knowledge and confidence to take the next step towards achieving your goals.

Meet Your Facilitator
Dr. Nazif MahbubMBBS (DU), MPH (Canada), CHE (Canada), PMP, FRSPH
Dr. Nazif Mahbub is a Senior Policy Analyst with the Ministry of Primary and Preventative Health Services, Government of Alberta, Canada. He is an MPH graduate and former Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Alberta, and a Certified Health Executive — Canada's only leadership designation specifically for health leaders.
His credentials span clinical medicine (MBBS, University of Dhaka), public health (MPH, Canada), health leadership (CHE), project management (PMP), and public health practice (Fellow of the Royal Society for Public Health).
Importantly for this workshop, Dr. Nazif personally went through the MPH admission journey from Bangladesh to Canada, securing admission to multiple U15 universities — Canada's group of leading research-intensive institutions. He brings both the lived experience of the applicant and the professional perspective of someone who now works inside the Canadian health system.

Is this workshop only for medical doctors?
No. While the workshop is highly relevant for physicians and medical graduates, it is open to anyone with a background in public health, life sciences, nursing, allied health, or related fields who is seriously considering an MPH in Canada.
Will the workshop be recorded or available online?
This is an in-person, interactive workshop designed for live discussion, demonstration, and Q&A. It will not be live-streamed or will not be distributed as a recording.
What should I bring?
Any specific questions about your situation. If you already have a draft resume or Statement of Purpose, feel free to bring it for reference during the demonstration sessions. You do not need to bring pen or notebook, as will supply those.
Will I get one-on-one feedback on my application?
The workshop is a group session focused on principles, frameworks, and demonstrations. While Dr. Nazif will answer questions during the dedicated Q&A and break periods, individual application reviews are not included in the workshop fee.
Can I pay at the venue?
No. Registration must be completed and paid for in advance via Bkash or Nagad. There is no on-spot registration.
